If small business owners have the time and resources to apply for a bank loan, and if they meet their eligibility criteria, that may be a suitable option. However, for those that need capital fast, or cannot secure their desired amount, other options exist.

That was the case for Jake S.*, the owner of a plumbing business that services large commercial projects.
